This Privacy Policy explains how Bubbles Booking ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares your information when you use our mobile app and website to book mobile car detailing services (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account and contact details: your name, email address and phone number.
- Service addresses: the addresses where you want the service, including their map location (latitude and longitude), so a technician can find you.
- Vehicle details: year, make, model, color and type of the vehicles you add.
- Bookings: the services and add-ons you choose, dates and times, notes for the technician and your booking history.
- Messages you exchange with your technician in the app.
- Reviews, ratings, tips and the description of any problem you report about a service.
Information created when you use the Service
- Photos of your vehicle taken by the technician when the job is finished, to show you the result.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number; we keep references to your payments (for example, amounts, dates and payment IDs).
- Device information for notifications: a push notification token and your device platform (Android or iOS), so we can send you booking updates.
- Sign-in links: when you sign in, we send a one-time link to your email and keep a secure token so you stay signed in.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your bookings, find an available technician near you and send them to your address.
- To process payments, tips, cancellations and refunds.
- To send you updates about your booking by push notification, email or text message (for example, confirmation, "your technician is on the way", "your car is ready").
- To handle reviews, reported problems and customer support.
- To tell you about promotions from technicians in your area through the app. You can turn off notifications in your phone settings at any time.
- To keep the Service safe, prevent fraud and comply with the law.
3. Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to provide the Service:
- Your technician: your name, phone number, service address, vehicle details, booking notes and messages, so they can perform the service.
- Other customers: when you leave a review, your first name and last initial may be shown with it. Photos of finished jobs may appear in the technician's portfolio, which other customers can see when choosing a technician. Technicians can hide any photo, and you can ask us to remove a photo of your vehicle.
- Service providers that work on our behalf:
- Stripe — payment processing and payouts to technicians;
- Google Maps Platform — address search and map location;
- Expo — delivery of push notifications;
- Twilio — text messages;
- our email provider and our website hosting provider.
- Legal reasons: if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers, technicians or us.
4. How long we keep your information
We keep your information while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your profile, saved vehicles and addresses, saved payment cards, notification tokens, sign-in sessions and unfinished bookings. We keep past bookings with your personal details removed (no name, email, phone or exact address), together with amounts, dates and reviews, because we need them for accounting, tax, technician payouts and resolving disputes.
5. Your choices and rights
- Access and correction: you can see and edit your vehicles and addresses in the app, or contact us to update other details.
- Delete your account: in the app, go to Profile → Delete account, or follow the steps at https://bubblesparkle.com/delete-account/.
- Notifications: you can turn off push notifications in your phone settings.
- Depending on where you live, you may have other rights under the law. Contact us to use them.
6. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and a payment processor that meets industry security standards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Children
The Service is intended for people 18 years or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If we make important changes, we will let you know in the app or by email. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
